400+ electrical enclosures were designed, built and tested at MSI for installations in the US and Slovakia. The system was designed for an extremely wet and corrosive environment. Our solution uses Trio motion controllers and 185 axes of servo motors/drives. The servo motors were modified to have low speed, low voltage windings and a custom shaft to mate with existing equipment. The system was designed to communicate with an upstream Honeywell Plantscape data collection system thru Profibus-DP. The amplifiers communicated with the motion control through CANOpen.

This was a complete, turnkey solution designed and provided by MSI. We also specified and procured the components for inclusion in our custom control panels. Our engineers developed the system software and coordinated a customer witness test in our facility. Our engineers did the international start-ups at the customer plants to complete the turnkey solution. Deliverables included panels & a 300+ page system manual.
